"Spirited" daw sabi ni Che. Believed by the Dumagat ancestors to cure some ailments, we surmise that there must be some basis in the anthocyanin content which is said to possibly offer anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-cancer benefits. But the Dumagats call it like they see it. inipot-ibon is its alternate name to describe its more mundane features. Because of the peculiarities of the mill, this black rice was milled twice to be softer and easier to cook.
This grain comes in a one-kilo pack. Recommended cooking ratio of 1 rice: 1.5 water.
