Featuring MASIPAG and Mako-Micropress
September 22, 2024 | 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Good Food Sundays, Mandala Park
Join us in this never-before seen collaboration with MASIPAG and Mako-Micropress on September 22nd at Good Food Sundays. Pressing issues concerning seed ownership are happening right NOW that could have long-ranging and lasting affects on our food sovereignty. How do zines and seed sovereignty intersect to play an important role in our stories of freedom? You're invited to create your own zine and explore these themes at this next Good Food Latag collaboration.
MASIPAG is a nation-wide network of farmers, scientists, and NGOs who support resource-poor farmers through the protection of native rice varieties, community empowerment, and educational programming. Mako Micro-press is an alternative, progressive, independent publisher of zines, posters, and other media.
We hope you feel more connected and empowered after this collective learning and creation experience!
If you need financial assistance in paying the entrance fee, please don't hesitate to message us at vida@goodfoodcommunity.org or dm us on the Good Food Community FB or IG. We will send you more instructions upon messaging.
