A seasoning that deserves to be discovered! Not to be confused with the scallion-based maranao palapa, this seasoning is used in Maguindanao to flavor meals, coconutty, spicy, and savory, it can be sprinkled over rice, soup, or any dish to add a different dimension or savory, interesting accent. Sometimes we think it almost tastes like bacon bits, though it is vegan! Contains coconut meat, red onions, ginger, siling labuyo (local chili), and salt.
