Solidarity Bike Ride

Who has the right to live in our city? Lahat tayo! 

Join us on this rural to urban solidarity bike ride on October 13 as we see our city from a people-based perspective. Bear witness to the everyday resistance of our communities to displacement, collective neglect and isolation. Take part in the grassroots community-building that keeps so many people alive in spite of market forces. Understand how the struggle for food justice includes all of us. From gardens, to markets, to the streets we reclaim our city through agroecology!

Our ride begins at the Agroecology X fair in UP, continuing to a bungkalan site in Area 17, with a couple of stops to illustrate and discuss inclusive mobility and ending at Good Food Sundays with light snacks and sharing on reclaiming our rights to the city.

This is united with the 16 Days of Global Action on Agroecology. Each solidarity share supports our partner farmers and provides organic produce to our community kitchens in Payatas with Food Today, Food Tomorrow.
