Upland alugbati from Tublay was a recent discovery by Lea Co. At a time of few leafies, we delivered it reluctantly knowing how much people enjoy alugbati. She immediately asked to know which farmers grew it because it wasn't like any she tasted before. It was crisp, fresh and not slimy. She said it reminded her of tomyao. Delicious simply sautéed! Or with tofu. Sardinas.
